Hospital beds
We recently provided cable to a customer for use in winch mechanisms that raise and lower hospital beds. Modern hospital beds lift, tilt, and angle across many different axes to provide user functionality while accommodating patient comfort. To create these different movements, hospital beds include a variety of complex moving parts and mechanisms that rely on Sanlo cable to perform at peak operation.  

Stretchers
Many hospital stretchers include a fifth wheel that deploys from the center of the unit. It increases maneuverability by allowing the bed to pivot around tight corners, or swivel past obstacles. Our cable is used to activate this fifth wheel, easily bringing it to the ground when it is needed, and securing it while it is not in use. One of our customers recently requested an expedited order of these cables, and we were able to quickly source the raw materials required to produce them in a timely manner.

Portable Handwashing Sinks
Portable sinks are often found in temporary medical shelters, outdoor testing locations, and other emergency environments where traditional running water is unavailable. Each portable hand sink can hold enough water to supply hundreds of hand washes, and it is essential the drain cap stay attached to the unit. To tether the drain cap to the base, these portable units rely on eye-eye cable assemblies from Sanlo.
